Ultra-High Rigidity heavy Load Caged Roller
Features of SRG
Prevents roller skewing
The use of a caged roller eliminates friction between rollers. Since the rollers
are able to circulate while uniformly aligned, there is less occurrence of slippage
during operation and variation in rolling resistance is decreased to obtain
stable movement. In addition, since the rollers have a low coefficient of friction,
rolling resistance is low and movement is both light and smooth.
Long-Term,
Maintenance-Free Operation
The use of a Caged Roller enables lubricating oil to be retained in the spacer
portions between adjacent rollers resulting in a decrease in the loss of oil
from the circulating path. Since a small amount of lubricating oil is supplied
to the curbed contact surfaces of the spacers and rollers, long-term maintenance-free
operation is realized.
Accommodation
of Harsh Environments (Options)
The Lubricator QZ is available as an option for supplying the required amount
of lubricating oil to those locations where it is needed in order to realize
long-term, maintenance-free operation is realized.
Ultra-High
Rigidity
Rollers having a low degree of elastic deformation are used for the rolling
elements to realize extremely high rigidity. The roller diameter and roller
length have also been optimized to realize ultra-high rigidity.
A DB structure is employed for the cross-sectional shape of the LM guide, and
each row of rollers is arranged at a 45-degree contact angle so that the same
load rating is applied in four directions. (radial, reverse radial, and lateral
directions).
Global
Standard Dimensions (Compatibility)
The dimensional design complies with the Type HSR developed by THK as the pioneer
of linear motion systems and has become the global standard.
